"I received a phone call from my son's school camp this morning. 'Mrs. (H), I was just about to serve your son lunch and I see a tattoo on his arm that says he's allergic to nuts.' This was shocking to me, as I had explained, in person, in notes and phone calls prior to this trip that my son is severely allergic to nuts and must only have the food I pack for him.

The class camp had taken a train trip and my son did not take his food I packed with him on the train. Thank goodness his SafetyTat alerted the volunteer serving food to stop, and to call me.

A friend told me about your product and I couldn't wait to order them. I got the 'Alert - Nut Allergy' SafetyTats, and for the first time, I felt like, in a way, I was there with my son to warn others about his allergies. It seems no matter how much I explain his condition to teachers and others responsible for his care ahead of time, it's just to easy for them to forget. According to Gavin de Becker, Child Safety Expert, and author of Protecting the Gift (Excerpt) "Teaching this to a young child ignores several facts: All identifying credentials, insignias, badges and nameplates are above the waist, but a young child sees a world of legs. In fact, many children get lost in the first place because of following legs (the wrong set): Legs aren't that distinctive when viewed from two and a half feet off the ground."

De Becker also states as an inflexible rule: Teach children that if they are ever lost, Go to a Woman. Why? De Becker says, "First, if your child's selects a woman, it’s highly unlikely that the woman will be a predator; A woman is likely to stop whatever she is doing, commit to that child, and not rest until the child is safe."

Our New SafetyTat Designs

SafetyTat Will Be Launching a NEW Shopping Cart System

As a direct result of customer survey results, we have been hard at work on our fancy new Shopping Cart, where our customers will be able to order multiple SafetyTats at the same time. Please keep talking. We are definitely listening.

Since we have so many different designs now, we thought it would be easier to separate them into categories.

We will also be offering GIFT CARDS, international phone number SafetyTats, and some great big surprises to our product line, so stay tuned! We are so excited by the direction of our SafetyTat website!

Survey Results

Hundreds of our customers responded to a survey we sent out asking for feedback on our product, ordering system, website and delivery.

Here's what we learned:

• 97% love our website (thank you)
• 91% were thrilled our ordering system, but wanted the ability to order multiple SafetyTats at once
• 98% of those surveyed received their SafetyTat order either just as expected or quicker than they expected. Of the two percent of orders who took a while or waaaay too long. Investigation showed his was largely due to the fickle Post Office automated equipment.
• 77% of our customers loved our product as is and wouldn't change a thing. However 23% wanted to see a few changes. Specifically that our SafetyTats were "too sticky" and attracted too much lint and appeared dirty after a day of use.

Here's what we did: We got to work!

• Initiated a new shopping system so customers can order several SafetyTats at once (look for it late May)
• Reformulated our SafetyTat adhesive so it's not so sticky
• Reworked our SafetyTats delivery packages for easier processing by US Post
• Cleaned our solar panels as a special treat for a website that ROCKS.
